Why did you pick Niki G’s Fitness Classes as your workout?

I chose Niki G when I heard about it from a friend. She told me Niki G’s was the only thing she’d ever participated in that produced results. I took her word and she was right! I’ve been hooked ever since.

What was your health/wellness/fitness situation before coming to Niki G’s?

Before I began Niki G I rarely worked out. The gym I previously belonged to closed and my only exercise was running/walking with my dog, Gracie, at Crockett Park.

What are your fitness goals?

When I started at Niki G’s I wanted to loose ten pounds and tone up. I’ve lost a little over ten pounds, so now I want to keep the weight off, continue to tone and strengthen my endurance.

What is your inspiration/motivation to get to class?

My motivation to get to class is seeing all the other lovely boot campers and if that isn’t enough I just imagine putting on a swimsuit! The swimsuit idea always does the trick!

What is your Niki G format or exercise?

Partner exercises are some of my favorite Niki G exercises. Working with a partner takes my mind off how bad my muscles are burning.

What’s your favorite healthy snack?

My favorite healthy snack is Dannon Greek Yogurt. My Mom recently introduced me to a new variety that has fruit mixed in and it’s great!

What’s your favorite treat food?

My favorite treat food would have to be anything with cheese.

How do you find the time to exercise and keep it a priority?

Making exercise a priority has always been difficult for me. I’ve learned to plan ahead and make certain days of the week “exercise” days. By sticking to a schedule I can plan around the days I will be exercising.

What’s the most important piece of information you have learn from Niki G and/or your trainer:

The most important piece of information I’ve learned from Niki G is you have to push yourself to see results. I don’t think I ever really worked out until I began Boot Camp. I’m not afraid to sweat anymore and no matter how bad it hurts you have to keep going!
