Which locations and primary time do you attend?

My primary location to exercise is Lenox Village at 6:00pm, however I started out at Granny White Park with Niki.

 

Why did you pick Niki G’s Fitness Classes as your workout?

I started boot camp to get ready for my vacation over a 16 months ago and have been hooked ever since.

 

What was your health/wellness/fitness situation before coming to Niki G’s?

Before starting boot camp with Niki G’s my body was changing becoming saggy and the weight just kept coming. I could not understand why my old habits were not working anymore to keep my youthful weight. I was active, and trying to attend the gym regularly.  My metabolism had begun to slow down with my aging and Niki G’s helped me realize the importance of nutrient and changing as my body changed. Not to mention how much fun it has become to exercise with an awesome group of women! I’ve made so many friends and look forward to working out every day!

 

How has Niki G’s Fitness Boot Camp helped you the most?

Niki G’s has helped me both physically and mental. Physically I have lost 17 lbs, 2inches each from my thighs, 2 inches from my hips and 1.5inches from my waist. I am stronger and in the BEST SHAP of my LIFE. Mentally boot camp helped my deal with the death of three siblings this year.  The strenuous exercise and encouragement from all the friends I have made was a blessing and I am thankful.

 

What are your current fitness goals?

My current fitness goal is to become stronger and focus even more on my nutrient.

 

What is your inspiration/motivation to get to class?

What motivates me the most to come to class is how good I feel when I am done. It is never boring with so many different routines and there is always new faces to meet.

 

What’s your favorite Boot Camp exercise, drill or class format?

My favorite boot camp exercise/drill would have to be when we are in groups running or doing a drill outside. It’s fun to encourage each other and laugh and joke.

 

Describe Your Typical Weekly Workout Schedule.

I workout with Niki G’s 3-4 times a week, but I also bike or hike one day on the weekend.

 

Describe a typical day of eating:

My typical eating schedule begins with some sort of protein; like eggs, peanut butter and toast or just a glass of milk. For lunch I usually have a sandwich (NO FRIES), and I drink water all day CONSTENTLY. Dinner is usually meat and veggies.

 

What’s your favorite healthy snack?

Turnip Greens with vinegar.

 

What’s your favorite treat food?

My guilty pleasure is Coke ICEE or Coffee Ice Cream.

 

How do you find the time to exercise and keep it a priority?

I make time to exercise daily after work because I have over an hour drive home.

 

What’s the most important piece of information you have learn from Niki G and/or your trainer?

The most important thing I learned from Niki G’s is the importance nutrient plays in my health as I age and I must continually adjust my habits as my body changes.

 

What is your favorite Instructor Quote during class?

My favorite quote comes from Whitney, “ You can do anything for 30 seconds”. Ha….yeah strangle her comes to mind when she says that….hehe.
