Why did you pick Niki G’s Fitness Classes as your workout?
I wanted an all around kick butt workout
What was your health/wellness/fitness situation before coming to Niki G’s?
I was tired, fatigued and had no energy; I was obese and was completely out of shape. I had never exercised before in my life.
How has Niki G’s Fitness Boot Camp helped you the most?
One of my goals when I started was to learn to love to exercise and I have exceeded that goal. Niki G.’s has created in me a love of exercise and it gives me a feeling of accomplishment every time I finish a class! I have also become stronger and have so much more energy!
What are your current fitness goals?
To reach my goal weight of 125, to continue to become stronger, and to continue to build my foundation for good physical health that will carry through the rest of my life.
What is your inspiration/motivation to get to class? Seeing the changes in my body and the way my husband loves the way I look and feel.
What’s your favorite Boot Camp exercise, drill or class format?
Crab walks because I love the way I feel them the next day, the stairs, partners because it makes me more accountable to the exercise.
Describe Your Typical Weekly Workout Schedule
M, T, Th, F – bootcamp. W – mile run, Sat – biking with the hubby.
Describe a typical day of eating
I am following the eat clean diet. Banana in the morning before working out, protein shake after workout, eggs, spinach, tomato omlet for breakfast, greek yogurt with apple for morning snack, chicken breast, salad with veggies from my garden, cottage cheese with a peach sprinkled with nuts for afternoon snack, Salmon with broccoli for dinner.

Greek yogurt with fresh fruit

Cheese cake
How do you find the time to exercise and keep it a priority?
I made a commitment when I started working out that it was going to be a life changing commitment for me. I want to be able to enjoy my later years in life by being healthy and being physically ABLE to do the things I want to do. I follow Niki’s advice and I schedule this time for myself and I work hard to keep distractions from preventing “my time” to make myself feel great.
