Why did you pick Niki G’s Fitness Classes as your workout?

My sister and I purchased a Groupon for the Cool Springs location.  I figured once the month was over,  I would move on to something else. It has now been 8 months.   

What was your health/wellness/fitness situation before coming to Niki G’s?

I could barely run or  do a  push-up. I have now completed two 5k runs and working on my 3rd. I can now do 15 boy pushups without stopping.   

How has Niki G’s Fitness Boot Camp helped you the most?

I have more endurance and mental clarity.

What are your current fitness goals?

I would like to complete my mile run in under 9mins &  compete in the Music City half marathon

What is your inspiration/motivation to get to class?

When my husband comments on how toned my arms have gotten and wearing a size 8 again!

What’s your favorite Boot Camp exercise, drill or class format?  

Favorite(does this exist)???  If I had to choose, it would be the partner drills

Describe Your Typical Weekly Workout Schedule:

I usually come to the 5:15 class 2-3 times a week

Describe a typical day of eating:

I’ve learned to  eat well and watch my portions. The nutrition class taught me to keep a food journal and stay away from processed foods. It is amazing what you can learn from reading food labels.  

What’s your favorite healthy snack?

Apples with Natural peanut butter.

What’s your favorite treat food?

anything Mexican!

How do you find the time to exercise and keep it a priority?

It’s a struggle with two little ones and my husband working 12 hr shifts. So it’s a constant balancing act but I’m a better mom/wife when I exercise.

What’s the most important piece of information you have learn from Niki G and/or your trainer? Whitney holds you accountable & always pushes us to the next level. We are constantly encouraging each other during our morning workouts. It is a team effort!

What is your favorite Instructor Quote during class (the funnier the better)

Whitney can be perky in the morning & always says, just imagine how sexy your calves will look in high heels. I’m thinking …heels, I will not be able to walk after this!
