Meet Your Training Team

Whitney has over 8 years fitness training experience, is an IFA and ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a USA Triathlon Coach!

“After graduating from the University of Louisville, I set a goal to run my first marathon with a charity group in the fall. Doing so changed the path of my career for the better. I had always been active growing up and continued to be active in college but it wasn’t until i graduated that I found it to be my passion. While training for the marathon I went on to become a certified personal trainer.After crossing the finish line of the race I realized I wanted to help others reach their fitness goals as well. I continued to work with runners and triathlon groups teaching them the importance of strength training as well as endurance. I was an instructor for many small group fitness classes and had several women I was helping in the Louisville area during my time there.
In 2012, as a newlywed, I relocated to Mt. Juliet. One year later I finally found familiar boot camp classes with Niki G. The opportunity to inspire, motivate and encourage women to meet their fitness goals is what I had been looking for in the Mt. Juliet area.
I am excited to continue doing what I love and helping other women find their passion for exercise and a healthier lifestyle!”

 

Natalie Profile

Natalie  has always been a passionate person. Her love for animals, adventure, and her husband are obvious with little conversation. Fitness is a passion that wasn’t always there, however. After she married Will in 2005, like so many others, they found comfort in their love, which lead to a progressively sedentary lifestyle, and plenty of extra pounds.  Overweight, overtired, and depressed, this wasn’t the life they wanted. By 2009, enough was enough, and they began to take steps towards getting healthy; eating better, and working out.

Who knew that something so dreaded, so unfamiliar, and so uncomfortable, would be so exciting. The passion for fitness was ignited, and the fat burned away. 45lbs lost, and muscle gained, fitness became not just something Natalie does, but part of who she is. The new Natalie couldn’t imagine a life without that feeling of triumph after tackling a brutal workout. She couldn’t imagine life without feeling strong, healthy, and confident. With all that passion, she couldn’t imagine keeping it to herself. This is a journey worth sharing with others, so she decided to go all-in.

Natalie began teaching free fitness classes to low income patients at a healthcare provider, and nutrition classes at a local non profit. She received Turbokick Certification, and is in the final stages of earning  her A.F.A.A. Group Fitness Instructor Certification. Now that she moved from Enterprise, Alabama to Nashville, she’s bringing all that passion to Niki G’s Bootcamp. Natalie is ready to hold her clients accountable by motivation, encouragement, and by pushing them through the hard times, so that they can reach their goals. We’re all on a journey, Natalie hopes to share that journey with her clients, and to help them find passion IN their lives, and FOR their lives.

Mount Juliet, Hermitage Women's outdoor Boot Camp

WHAT TO BRING

First,  be sure that you have reviewed all your emails and handbook. Since this is more than just an exercise class, we want to be sure you are fully prepared! Bring your signed waiver and membership agreement to your first class.

We recommend that you bring the following everyday to class:

  • Exercise Mat
  • At least one set of weights (3lbs, 5lbs, 8lbs or 10lbs depending on your strength)
  • Wear a good pair of running shoes
  • Towel
  • Workout Gloves
  • Plenty of water (at least 30oz)
  • A friendly and POSITIVE attitude!

You are welcome to borrow our outdoor mats and weights, but we highly suggest that you bring your own mat and at least one set of weights.

Niki G’s Boot Camp is a FUN, POSITIVE, AND SUPPORTIVE ATMOSPHERE. Be sure you always bring your best self possible and be ready to work! This is NOT a day at the spa!  We work hard, get sweaty and sometimes get dirty. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it!!
